And, if you’d care to know more about my writing background, continue reading.
My name is Joey Seipel. I graduated magna cum laude with a B.B.A. from Bowling Green State University in May of 2016. My specialization was in Business Management. I graduated as an Alumni Laureate Scholar which afforded me a full-tuition scholarship in addition to an annual book stipend. I also graduated as a member of Honor Scholars, a highly competitive organization dedicated to cognitive development.
While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I cultivated a deep interest in critical thinking. This fascination eventually lead me to a peer assistant position with Dr. Neil Browne’s Introduction to Critical Thinking course. Dr. Browne is a Distinguished Teaching Professor Emeritus, and author of Asking the Right Questions, a book that has sold over a million copies in languages all over the world. I then went on to work on a law review article with him, in addition to co-authoring multiple blog posts.
During my senior year of college, I transitioned from more academic-based writing to helping start an organic clothing company. My primary responsibilities were, and continue to be, producing all of the written content for the company website, and for developing and creating the content for the company’s blog. This experience has been and continues to be a nice fusion of two passions I hold dear: business (specifically entrepreneurship) and writing.
In the fall, I will continue to develop my skills as a writer and an entrepreneur at the University of San Diego School of Law.
Oh, and here is my resume.
